How to Make Your Wedding Unique

People come to me for advice about their "big day" so as to make it worthwhile. I guess this is due to my vast amount of experience in the wedding industry which cut across most parts of wedding planning. Even though I am a wedding photographer, my passion for the success of my clients wedding day has made me to always establish a deeper connection with them. In this article, i will be discussing some of the things that make a wedding unique.
I remember growing up in a small neighborhood where i had a normal primary and secondary education like any other normal kid. I did what most people did but i always ensured that i made a difference with whatever i laid my hands upon. Even though growing up was filled with much dreams, going to wedding ceremonies with my parents from a tender age formed part of my early exposure to wedding. When I eventually ventured into the wedding business, I found it easy to understand so many intricacies of a wedding. Part of starting this blog is to share my experience in the field with would be couples (especially the brides) in order to make sound decisions.
All the components of a wedding from the choice of a wedding planner, make up kit or artist, hotel or reception, photographer etc. will determine how successful and unique your wedding is. In chemistry, i was made to realize that every element was made made up of tiny atoms all of which are interconnected. In the same way, a wedding contains many interconnected parts( some of which I mentioned earlier) that function together. Our choices really matter most. I remember the situation of a bride at a wedding who could barely walk properly because she wore extremely tight-fitting pair of shoes. I just couldn't laugh out so as  not to look stupid. I latter learnt that she bought it two days to her wedding.
I usually advice every would be couple to do a background check on whosoever is being brought to the wedding planning process. Ensure that your dress will be completed as scheduled at least two weeks before the wedding. The choice of reception will be determined by your budget, location and number of attending guests. Don't be like some couples that will be booking additional tents and canopies to accommodate teeming guests on the wedding day. I don't believe that everybody needs to be invited, only those that really matter. Choose a photographer that will uniquely capture your dearest moments in the best possible way that reflects your personality. This is where my company, Thyme Digital Pictures really excel.
No one wants to set a wedding date and expect it to flop. A popular saying says; "Proper Planning Prevent Poor Performance". I believe proper planning sets the tone right for a wedding to be described as a masterpiece. Subsequent articles on my blog will provide step by step guides to follow concerning  more specific issues. This will ensure that the "big day" as I sometimes call it, leaves beautiful memories in our minds that linger forever on the sands of time
